Opera New Hampshire Brings Metropolitan Opera Star to Manchester MANCHESTER, NH: Opera New Hampshire is gearing up for its First Annual “Taste of Opera” Live & Silent Auction Event to be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH. Opera New Hampshire is celebrating more than 45 years of professional opera with an evening filled with auction excitement and live entertainment.The event will consist of silent, closed, and live auctions where attendees can bid on exciting items donated by local and regional businesses. In addition to the auctions, patrons will also enjoy a special preview of Opera New Hampshire’s 2010-2011 Season as former Metropolitan Opera baritone, Ted Lambrinos, and his wife Hallie Neill sing selections from Puccini’s Madame Butterfly and Turandot and more. According to Board President Richard Bojko, “We’re delighted to have two world class singers as guest performers at our special event. It’s a great opportunity to experience a taste of live opera and support the state’s oldest opera company.” “A Taste of Opera” will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Palace Theatre from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
