FPAC Features Jamie Barrett

FRANKLIN, MA: The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) will present Jamie Barrett singing family favorites on Sunday, February 5th at 1:00 p.m. Come join in on the fun when Jamie Barrett leads a concert of popular songs in a one-hour, family friendly format in the FSPA Recital Hall, 38 Main Street.

Jamie was born in Westerly, RI and raised in Mystic, CT and he is now living in Franklin, MA. Jamie is a popular music teacher in the Franklin public schools. A guitarist/singer/songwriter, he loves to perform and can be seen many times a year at local libraries and coffee houses.

The Franklin Performing Arts Company has offered its Family Concert Series free to the public for the past 20 years. With the support of the Franklin Cultural Council, Berry Insurance and FPAC, the Family Concert Series has introduced local families to the sounds of classical, rock, pop, opera, folk, jazz and blues music played by professional musicians in an entertaining, engaging and educational format. On three Sundays throughout the winter, the public is invited to 38 Main Street to share in a free afternoon of quality music. FPAC aspires to reach all ages in its choice of musical genres and the approach the artists take in their interactive performances. 2012 will also offer The Three Little Pigs- An Opera for Children on Sunday, March 18th at 1 pm. The series began with a Beatles-Sing-a-Long in January.

The Franklin Performing Arts Company was founded in 1991 and is dedicated to the promotion of the performing arts, with a focus on and commitment to youth development.  A distinctive suburban non-profit arts organization, FPAC presents quality performances while offering opportunities for professional artists, amateurs, families and students of the arts to work together in a collaborative and creative environment.
