Women in Comedy with Loretta LaRoche & Friends

ROCHESTER,NH: Laughter is the best medicine, so fill your prescription with Women in Comedy at the Rochester Opera House on Thursday, May 8 at 8:00.  Enjoy a hilarious evening with humorist, author and PBS star Loretta LaRoche and her fabulously witty friends;  Kelly MacFarland of Comedy Central’s Laugh Riot and Sue Burton & Christine Hurley of Nick at Nite’s America’s Funniest Mom Contest.  Laugh until you cry.  This is the perfect show for all you girls, who just want to have fun.  Men, too, of course!  Dress up in your best red and purple attire, Red Hatters, because this is the show for you…present your membership card at the box office and receive a 10% discount on tickets on Mon-Wed-Fri from 10-5.

Loretta LaRouche’s wit and irreverent take on life has raised the humor potential across the country for over thirty years.  Her optimistic psychology prescribes laughter to chase away the blues and stress in the workplace.  LaRoche, recently awarded the National Humor Treasure Award, has authored seven books including Life is Not a Stress Rehearsal, Life is Short-Wear Your Party Pants and Squeeze the Day.

Women in Comedy is sponsored in part by Frisbie Memorial Hospital and Waste Management.  Call the ROH box office (603-335-1992) to reserve tickets ($30/general and $25/students & seniors) or purchase online at www.rochesteroperahouse.com.
