Daniel Loya

DLoya.bmp (209138 bytes)Daniel, who once appeared on the front page of the "Living Arts " section of the Boston Sunday Globe, has performed with Acme Theater Productions, The Burlington Players, Nashoba Players (then The Groton-Littleton Theatre), Harvard Community Theatre, Riverside Theatre Works, as well as Camelot and others.  His past shows include Sexual Perversity in Chicago (Danny), The Nerd (Willum), Godspell (Judas), A Funny Thing Happened...Forum (Hero & Hysterium) and Close Ties (Ira), the latter of which earned him an "Excellence in Acting" Award.  No stranger to puppetry, Daniel previously animated the three incarnations of "The Plant" in Little Shop of Horrors, and took on several roles, at once, in The Compleat Works of Wllm Shakespr (abridged), but he may best be remembered for his pivotal portrayal of "Fenway Park Peanut Vendor" in the Robert Duval/John Travolta film, A Civil Action.

Off-stage, Daniel co-directed You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and produced Jerry Finnegan's Sister, which won Acme the Best Production Award at the EMACT Festival in 1997.  Also at EMACT, Daniel appeared in Acme's Festival'2000 entry, Lone Star.
