Jack Dacey

JDacey.jpg (51484 bytes)Jack last appeared in our fall production of Love Letters, and prior to that in featured roles in Amateurs, The Sunshine Boys, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Count Dracula and Fools. His many years of acting credits extend back to Camelot’s Speare House and “gypsy” days. He also worked extensively with the Chelmsford Players and the Garrett Players of Lawrence.

Jack’s directing credits include Reckless, The Water Engine and several others. He directed Camelot’s EMACT Festival entries of Chamber Music, A Man for All Seasons, Schubert’s Last Serenade and Clevinger’s Trial. His work as a set designer has been honored three times with the Best Set Design Award at the EMACT Festival. Our audiences here at the Lodge have appreciated his set design skills in The Lion in Winter, Funeral Tea, Frankenstein, Fools and many others. Active

in community theatre for over 35 years, Jack has served as a stage manager, production coordinator, scenery painter and set construction assistant for too many shows to be listed. He has also served since 1985 as Co-Stage Manager of the EMACT Festival, and is a past president of The Camelot Players.
