Kevin Dumont

KDumont.bmp (201850 bytes)After 18 years in community theatre, Kevin made his directorial debut with Camelot's production of Table Manners in 1992, though this is not the limit of his participation.  He has served for ever as the group's President, as well as portraying the invaluable and indispensable master carpenter and construction chief for each and every Camelot production.  On many an occasion, he simultaneously stage manages, designs, and even performs onstage.

Kevin's onstage performances include the October'02 production of Love Letters (Andrew Makepeace Ladd, III), as well as Mr. Shanks in Habeas Corpus, The Waiter in Between Mouthfuls, David Murray in The Water Engine, as well as roles in The Odd Couple (male version), The Butler Did It, Norman, Is That You?, Inherit the Wind,The Sunshine Boys, Count Dracula, Clevinger's Trial, California Suite, See How They Run, No Sex Please, We're British, Laughter on the 23rd Floor and Let's Murder Marsha. Most recently, however, Kevin reprised his role as The Waiter in May'04's segment  "Between Mouthfuls" in Three Short Comedies.

Kevin was stage manager for Camelot's 2005 EMACT Festival entry production of "Waiting for the End...", director of Camelot's 2003 Festival entry Dear Liar, and was also also Camelot's Stage Manager for Chamber Music at the EMACT Festival in 2002.  His stage managing abilities have garnered great recognitions at the Annual Community Theatre Drama Festival, where he is the only 4-time winner of the prestigious "Stage Manager's Award" for Camelot's productions of Schubert's Last Serenade, A Man for All Seasons, Any Body for Tea? and Absurd Person Singular.
