as Public Opinion/Wabbit and Washington/French. However, a director may use whatever
assignment of the roles of the Thoughts works best for a particular production. Potter and
Spirit must not be double-cast. Thoughts and Spirit (the ones within the marble at any
specific time) comprise the Chorus.
