NEED Profile for
ELLEN BECKER-GRAY

Trained in musical theatre, Ellen Becker-Gray has appeared throughout
New England. She performed as Mme.de la Grand Bouche (Wardrobe) in
Beauty and the Beast at the Mount Washington Valley Theatre in
North Conway, NH. Other favorite roles include Maud Dunlop in The
Music Man, Mrs. Bedwin in Oliver! and Irma Slocum in
Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Ellen has also produced, directed, and
taught acting.

Ellen began her transition to film as an actor in 2004.
Since that time, she has appeared in a variety of feature films and TV
projects. One of the highlights of Ellen's career was being directed by
Denzel Washington in the feature film, “The Great Debaters.” Ellen won
the Best Actress Award for her role in “A Writer's Moon,” an entry in the
Providence 2007 48 Hour Film Project.

| Ellen grew up in the seacoast town of
Marblehead, Massachusetts. A kindergarten teacher in that town's public
schools from 1985 to 2005, she took early retirement to focus on her career
as a performer. She is a member of Actor's Equity Association, Screen
Actor's Guild, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. |
